According to Ayurvedic medicine, most of the people are born in a state of equipoise but quickly loose it through bad diet, etc.,

Until advent of Ayurveda, diseases were usually explained in terms of possession by various demonic entities.

The college has a 100 bed hospital in order to provide a clinical field for orientation of the clinical subjects to the Ayurvedic students in the integrated system of the curriculum that is being followed by the college as prescribed by the authoritative guidelines. The college is attached to 300 beded Government Hospital for Additional clinical exposure to the students. The hospital has various outlets in the city as well as in the rural areas. The hospital is well equipped with OPD, IPD, Intensive care unit, Operation theatre, X- Ray unit, EGG and Investigative facilities.

The specialty of this hospital lies in having a well-equipped Panchakarma theatre, which is the main method of treatment in Ayurveda. Also separate units for surgery, and ENT, Obstructers and Gynecology have been provided in the hospital.

Panchakarma theatre is being provided with special Massage tables, Dhara tables and Steam Chamber for the purpose of doing the Panchakarma Therapy i.e., physiological purification, namely Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and also other special therapies like Dhara, Patrapinda Sweda, Kayaseka etc.

According to Modern research findings, the Panchakarma therapy helps in removing the endotoxins, scavenges the excessive free radicals and corrects the digestive and metabolic disturbances. It is observed that along with the Ayurvedic Medicines, Panchakarma Therapy promotes immunity and the occurrence of diseases will be checked.
